| Throughout the school year, special programs may be offered which vary in length from 60-90 minutes. These programs include interactive experiences, hands-on activities, authentic learning opportunities and/or presentations by experts, artists, crafts people, etc. |
| Fall Farm Day |
December 6th and 7th, 2012
Sunshine State Standards: SS.2.A.1.1; SS.3.A.1.1 |
Students will compare life today with life on the 1880s farm. Students will be guided through stations and have a hands-on experience at 1880s farm life during fall. Activities include: old-fashioned farm games, a sample of a fall-time farm food, a garden activity, and an activity learning about the roles of animals on the farm during fall. |
| African American Heritage Days |

The Bellevue Plantation is a great place to learn about slavery in the south. The Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church is essential to learn the importance of church in black communities. The Concord School allows students to learn about African Americans obtaining their education during Reconstruction. The students will learn about all three buildings through role-play and other hands-on activities. |
