2010 Pre-School Summer Camp Schedule
June 7-11 - FULL Farm Tales Your camper will have such great times learning all about life on a farm. They will create a cookbook filled with recipes "compiled" by our farm animals! They will taste test each one while enjoying hands-on activities full of facts and fun about each animal.
June 14-18 - FULL Tall Timbers What a wonderful adventure awaits your child as they use a camera to document what they see in our forest areas at the Museum. They will compile their own “Tree Treasure Book” as they create this document using their own words and photographs. Arts and literacy experiences are all apart of this camp adventure. The Museum will furnish the cameras.
June 21-25 - FULL Come Make a Rainbow Rainbows are magical to children! Your child will paint, work with prisms, create a kaleidoscope and prepare colorful snacks while exploring mystical rainbows.
June 28-July 2 - FULL Habitat Discovery This is a great chance for your child to investigate our Wild Florida Exhibit and create their own animal habitat through a hands-on project. The children will get to take part in a service project for the Museum’s animal staff.
July 5-9 - FULL Fairy Tails Yep, "Tails". Your children will be apart of bringing Fairy Tails to life and see how they relate to so many of our Museum native animals. During one of these fun encounters your child will have an opportunity to question Little Red Riding Hood’s motives and hear the Wolf’s point of view! Of course this week would be incomplete without seeing if the frog is really a prince?  Pucker up and come join us for all the fun.
July 19-23 - FULL Rev Up For Reptiles Snakes and turtles as well as digging up the past on a dinosaur excursion will all be a part of this camp. If your child wants to see what fun it would be to be a Paleontologist, this is the camp for them.
July 26-30 - FULL Art Camp Campers will have an opportunity to use paints, tins, cement, colorful rocks, silverware, boxes and maybe the kitchen sink! If your child enjoys making their own creations this camp will inspire them to do just that. Hope to see you there.
August 2-6 - FULL Splish, Splash H20 Fun! What great way to end the summer. Your camper will perform water experiments, create snacks and help construct the "Kid Wash" machine. You can be sure that there will be good clean fun for all.

Don't forget to register for fall preschool. We are a V.P.K. provider. We also have a variety of class times and days to fit any needs. Spots fill up fast so contact the Museum today!
