Please join the hundreds of volunteers—ranging in age from 15 to 80—who contribute their time, energy and expertise to the Tallahassee Museum. Volunteers are the face and the heart of the Museum. Without their efforts, the Museum would not be able to offer its wide array of learning opportunities and research activities.
As a volunteer, you may work with Museum visitors and staff helping with the daily activities, assisting with special events, or special projects.
Do you qualify? If you enjoy working with people and gaining new experiences, if you share a commitment to preserve and interpret our region’s natural and cultural heritage, and if you can commit a minimum of four hours a month, you qualify as a Tallahassee Museum volunteer.
Volunteer Programs
The Museum offers both Volunteer Opportunities for Adults and Summer Youth Volunteers programs. Volunteers are also needed for special events and projects.

It's great to be a small part of a place that creates wonderful memories and enriches the lives of those who visit here at the Tallahassee Museum. I enjoy working with the staff, but there is more, each time I come to work, I'm reminded just how much Florida has to offer with its rich history, native wildlife and natural beauty.
