WE'RE IN IT TOGETHER!

With many in our community facing pay cuts, layoffs, furloughs, and financial crises, the Tallahassee Museum has launched a campaign to enable people to enjoy rewarding experiences despite their economic burdens.

The campaign, titled “We’re In It Together,” provides very affordable opportunities for people to spend quality time together.

The Tallahassee Museum will waive or reduce its pricing to make the Museum more accessible for those who are being affected by the economic slowdown.

How is the Museum Helping?

1. Any individual who has been laid-off and is collecting unemployment compensation, with documentation, may bring his or her family household to the Tallahassee Museum for free.

2 All state employees, university employees and teachers, with a valid ID or pay stub, will receive 2 for 1 admission rates. They also may receive a 15% discount on the purchase of Museum memberships that provide a year of free admission and other valuable discounts.

3 Any non-profit social service organization that wishes to bring its clients to the Museum this summer but cannot afford admission rates may seek either a significant discount or a waiver of admission fees upon written request.

4. The Museum has initiated a Spring Pass for $35 (good from Feb 1 through May 31, 2010) allowing free admission for the Summer Pass holder and three other people, plus 10% discounts in the Museum Store and Trail Break Café.

5. The Museum is offering everyone a 10% discount on Museum Memberships and Workshops.

6. The Museum asks all other interested and concerned businesses within our community to provide discounts to the card-bearing members of the Tallahassee Museum. In return, the Museum will provide a listing of these businesses and their discount offers on the Museum’s website.
