Tallahassee Museum Scheduled to Resume Regular Business Hours, Friday May 8th

After careful consideration and preparation as predominantly an outdoor space, we are pleased to announce the Museum will resume regular business hours, beginning Friday, May 8th.

The safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. All public contemporary and historic buildings except for our public bathrooms, Visitor Center, and Trail Break Café will remain closed. The Visitor Center and Museum Store will only be open to exiting, masked visitors and will maintain appropriate visitor capacity levels. The Trail Break Café will follow the Governor’s guidelines for restaurants and all visitors entering buildings required to wear masks. The Museum’s play area and Tallahassee Tree to Tree Adventures will also remain closed. Groups entering our facility are restricted to ten people or less.

In addition to following CDC guidelines, signage throughout the Museum grounds will remind visitors of social distancing, recommend masks, provide directional assistance and queue lines, encouraging visitors not to touch exhibit windows, labels, or interactive devices. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the Museum’s grounds, and our restrooms and touch surfaces will receive regular and frequent sanitation throughout the day.

Thank you all for your continued support of the Museum, your generosity, and loyalty. We are incredibly grateful for your consistent demonstration of the value you see in us.
