Early Childhood Camps

 

Summer Camp 2020

HOURS:  9 am-4:30 pm, with extended care offered from 7:45 am-8:45 am, and 4:45 pm-5:45 pm.

FEES: $160 members/ $170 non-members Extended Care: $8 per day/ $35 per week

AGES: 4- 5 year old children who have not yet entered Kindergarten, Children must be potty trained.

LUNCH & SNACK: Campers should bring a packed lunch, 2-3 snacks, and a water bottle.

Please be aware that we have a quiet/nap time at 1pm, and students are welcome to bring a blanket or pillow. We advise using bug spray and sunscreen before drop off.

We understand that changes arise in scheduling and therefore allow for one change in date and time no less than 2 weeks prior to the camp date. A $25 administrative fee for program date/time change is applied to any change made in addition to the allowed change, or one that is less than 2 weeks prior.

How to Register for Multiple Camp Weeks Online

June 1-5th: Journey to Outer Space Blast off into summer with this exciting week all about the planets, stars, and other celestial bodies!   REGISTER HERE

June 8-12th: Dr. Suess Come explore the wacky world of the Lorax, Cat in the Hat and the Sneetches! Oh, the places your preschooler will go using their imagination to create truffula trees and much more! Preschoolers will spend the week with stories and crafts from Dr. Suess, Rosemary Wells, Eric Carle and other beloved children’s book authors. Each camper will become an author and illustrator when they create a book of their very own. REGISTER HERE

June 15-19th: On the Farm- Campers will explore the Museum’s working farm and cook tasty treats from scratch just like our ancestors did in the 1800’s. REGISTER HERE

June 22-26th: Florida Wildlife- Get up close and personal this week with some of Florida’s most treasured wildlife. Campers will examine tracks, pelts, and even bones of bears, panthers, foxes, and more! REGISTER HERE

June 29th-July 3rd: Shark Week- Take a bite out of summer at the Museum! This week will surely make a splash with your baby shark during water play, crafts, and marine themed cooking activities. REGISTER HERE

July 6-10th: Dinosaurs- Junior paleontologists will travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth and return with their very own fossil! REGISTER HERE

July 13-17th: Mad Science- Fizzing potions, sticky slime, electric “shock” oh my! All mad scientists are welcome to step into the lab and experiment during this exciting week at camp. REGISTER HERE

July 20-24th: Fairy Tales- Calling all beauties and beasts! Campers will step into a world of magic where they can create their own crowns, find a magic wand, and even attend a ball at the end of the week! REGISTER HERE
