Early Childhood Camps


Summer Camp 2019

HOURS:  9 am-4:30 pm, with extended care offered from 7:45 am-8:45 am, and 4:45 pm-5:45 pm.

FEES: $160 members/ $170 non-members Extended Care: $8 per day/ $35 per week

AGES: 4- 5 year old children who have not yet entered Kindergarten, Children must be potty trained.

LUNCH & SNACK: Campers should bring a packed lunch, 2-3 snacks, and a water bottle.

Please be aware that we have a quiet/nap time at 1pm, and students are welcome to bring a blanket or pillow. We advise using bug spray and sunscreen before drop off.

We understand that changes arise in scheduling and therefore allow for one change in date and time no less than 2 weeks prior to the camp date. A $25 administrative fee for program date/time change is applied to any change made in addition to the allowed change, or one that is less than 2 weeks prior.

How to Register for Multiple Camp Weeks Online

June 3-7: Fire and Ice: Campers will have fun learning about dinosaurs, volcano’s and the Ice Age through making fun crafts, snacks and trail adventures.  REGISTER HERE

June 10-14: Creating Art “Naturally”: Campers will paint with mud, plants and herbs found out on the trails, draw with pencils that the birds provide as well as use the natural treasures they find to build their own special projects. REGISTER HERE

June 17-21: Swamp Princess and the Frog in the Bog: Calling all princesses and frogs! This camp is full of fun wet adventures on the trails. Campers will create costumes using objects found during our outdoor adventures and end the week with a piñata party. REGISTER HERE

June 24-28: Things with Wings: Fireflies, dragon flies and even a few non flying creatures with wings are all a part of the adventures that we will share during this week of camp. REGISTER HERE

July 1,2, and 3: Home Sweet Home:  campers will explore the many habitats at the museum on Monday and Tuesday of this week and choose one to build a diorama project. We will not have camp on July 4th or 5th. REGISTER HERE

July 8-12: Natures Body Shop: In this camp we will be exploring parts of our animals that is. Have you ever looked at animals eyes or wondered how their mouth works? Well get ready to have a fun lip smacking week in this camp. REGISTER HERE

July 15-19: Puppetry camp: If you like puppet shows and creating your own puppets this camp is for you. Songs, snacks and outdoor adventures are all a part of the fun. REGISTER HERE

July 22-26: It’s a Wrap: We are wrapping our summer camp sessions up this week with a fun camp all about skin, fur or scales. There’s never been a better skin than the one you’re in. REGISTER HERE
