Dear Friends at Home: A closer look at letters from a Civil War Soldier

Enjoy an hour with Historical Archaeologist Tristan Harrenstein, Public Archaeology Coordinator at Florida Public Archaeology Network. In this program, guests will examine letters written home from a soldier in the Civil War and explore the code of the written word.  We’ll discover hidden meaning, the craft of story-telling and learn a little more about soldier, Melvin Tibbetts who wrote his letters more than 150 years ago.
