We bring the traditional art of Japanese printmaking to Tallahassee! Dating from the mid-1800’s, “gyo= fish/ taku= rubbing”, was originally used as a form of record keeping among Japanese fishermen. Today it is celebrated as craftsmanship. In this workshop, participants will learn how real fish can become works of art. The result is a beautiful gift for the fish lover in your life or a decorative print for your home! Materials will be provided.
Please note that this workshop is sometimes conducted outside.
Registration Deadline: Saturday, July 14th at noon.
