Dating from the mid-1800’s, “gyo= fish/ taku= rubbing”, was originally used as a form of record keeping among Japanese fishermen. Today it is celebrated as an art. In this direct approach to the art, participants will apply ink or paint onto the fish and gently press it onto paper. Materials will be provided.
Please note that this workshop is sometimes conducted outside.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, December 5th at Noon.
