The global, preeminent organiza2on for animal fine art, the Society of Animal Artists (SAA), founded in 1960, is excited to announce their inaugural Animal Art Experience!
The SAA’s goal is to have SAA artists at zoos and wildlife refuges throughout the United States on May 3rd. The SAA artist will set-up to demonstrate their craft. What will be demonstrated, sketching, and painting. The intention is for them to engage with visitors of the facility to express why animals in fine art is important and relevant, and answer any questions that observers may have, like; what it’s like to be an artist how to get started in art, specific questions about what they are demonstrating and/or materials being used, or anything else related that might come up. We are especially looking to get kids interested in the genre of animal art.
