Jonah Parker-Hanson, 12, is a talented up and coming nature photographer and is this year’s featured Market Days Jr.’s Exhibitor. His wildlife photography has already made a statement in his home county of Wakulla and he is constantly pushing himself to improve.
Jonah’s current favorite subject is egrets. “They’re so white when you take a picture of them, you have to light it different because it’s so bright,” said Jonah when asked why egrets were difficult to photograph. “It’s really hard.”
Jonah is excited to showcase his work during this year’s Market Days event. His mother, Della Parker-Hanson, has appreciated the community support Market Days brings to her son.
“Market Days is a phenomenal experience for us,” said Della. “We started going because he wanted to sell his pictures to help pay for an expensive camera piece and we found a great supportive community that has helped Jonah. It’s wonderful.”
Be sure to stop by Market Days December 2nd & 3rd to see Jonah’s and other Jr. Exhibitor’s work!
