Nightly Schedule Of Events

Goblins and ghosts will be lurking at the Tallahassee Museum as we transform the grounds into a fantasy land of terrifying haunted trails and childhood make-believe.

This fright night of fun begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. each night of the two-day event.

Activities abound, specific for a variety of age groups including:

  • Not-So-Spooky Trail
  • Steampunk Village
  • Carnival Games
  • Costume Contests
  • Live Music
  • Zombie Maze
  • The Haunted Trail

Members: $8 adults; $6 children ages 4-15 Non-members: $10 adults; $8 children ages 4-15

Nightly Schedule of Events

Information Booth – Visitor Center (at back of this building)
If you need assistance, please come here, or to the Admission Area. Also get a trick or treat bag here.

Carnival Games – from Visitor Center to Big Bend Farm entrance
A variety of games and activities with prizes and candy given out to children.

Mystic Cove – Between Caboose-Area 1, Concord School House-Area 2 & Office-Area

Zombie Maze – Area 4 (Bellevue Lawn), Open at Dark, 7:45-8 to 10 p.m (Line Begins Between Caboose and Church, Areas 1 and 3)
Come try to find your way out of this scary maze before a monster gets you. NOTE: Recommended for people 12 years and older. Warning: This maze incorporates strobe lights and fog machines.

Costume Contest – Area 26, Stage, Must register 15 minutes prior to contest time. Both Nights

7:00………..Pre-K - 2nd Grade Costume Contest *
8:15………… 3rd- 6th Grade Costume Contest *
9:15……………….7th Grade - Adults Costume Contest*

Registration at judges table at the Stage. Please register at least 15 minutes prior to competition. Costumes will be judged on Funniest, Scariest, and Most Original.

Face Painting - Area 9, Snake Exhibits/Chapin Building

Steampunk Village on the Farm - Area 31 & 32
Featuring Victorian era games, magic and more.

Moon Walks – Area 25 (Between Trail Break Café Area 28 and the Big Bend Farm Area 30)
Come have a bouncing good time. Separate inflatable for the younger children.

Music – Area 26, Stage, (Both Nights) Children's music and songs by Safari Man and classic rock by Rhythm Abuse

Not So Spooky Trail – Area between 9 & 23, Snake Display/Chapin Area 9 and Preschool Bldg. Area 23
Specifically for ages 4 and under, but all ages will love the photo opportunities. Exits into Natural Science Bldg where there are games to play.

Shopping – Visitor Center
Glow in the dark items, other Halloween items, toys and more

Trail Break Café - Area 28 and Museum Office (Area *) for drinks, chips and popcorn
Come by and quench your thirst and have some food to build up your strength for the Haunted Trail so you will be ready to be lost in the woods! Lots of delicious morsels await you there!

The Haunted Trail Opens at Dark, 7:30 to 10 p.m. – Area 21 and * (Line Begins Between Guest Animal Habitat and Museum Office)
Come experience the thrills and chills on this creepy trail through the woods. NOTE: Recommended for people 12 years and older. This trail incorporates strobe lights and fog machines.

NOTE: People will exit the Haunted Trail at Areas 1 & 3 – Caboose and Church
