Welcome to Tallahassee Museum Preschool’s Nature Based Summer Camp! Established in 1964, the Tallahassee Museum Preschool is offering 7 weeks of nature-filled summer camp for ages 3-6 (preschool to rising kindergarteners). Experience enchanting days full of playful learning on 52 acres of beautiful woodlands.
Every week is a new animal adventure, inviting campers to discover its story while still visiting all of our museum animals and exploring every corner of the museum. Our summer camp will follow a daily routine emphasizing active outside play, sensory-rich activities, and hands-on creativity to bring each week to life. Every day will include opportunities for outside play and/or hikes through our wonderland of wildlife trails.

Campers need to bring/wear:
● Non tie closed toe shoes (Velcro etc.)
● Apply bug spray/sunscreen prior to camp
● Lunch and Snack (labeled with camper’s first and last name)
● Water Bottle (labeled with campers first and last name)
● Blanket for rest time
● Change of clothes (labeled with first and last name)
Full day 8:45 – 4:00
Price: $275/week
Half day: 8:45-12:30
Price: $175/week

Wild About Wolves
We’ll have a howling good time as we learn all about our endangered red wolves! We’ll
discover where they live, what they eat, and find out once and for all if they’re really big
and bad or just misunderstood and marvelous.

Bear Tales and Trail Adventures
We’ll get our binoculars ready to go over, under, and through as we explore and learn
everything we can about our beautiful black bears and their forest homes.

See You Later, Alligator
Get ready for snappy surprises as we dive deep into the swamp and uncover the
mysteries of the amazing alligator!
June 22
Whiskers and Wilderness
We’ll have a purr-fectly wild adventure as we prowl through the forest and learn all
about our wild cats, the Panther and Bobcat! From their whiskers to their paws, we’ll
learn about it all!

Otterly Curious
Let’s make a splash while we dive into the playful world of otters! We’ll wiggle, giggle,
and explore while we learn all about the clever and cute otters!
July 13
Fawns, Ferns, and Fun
Let’s tiptoe into our fantastical forest and observe the peaceful white tailed deer. From
their antlers to their hooves, we’ll find out the magic makes these forest friends so
special.
July 20Fantastic Foxes
We’ll step into a fairy tale forest to learn all about fantastic foxes! With their fluffy tails
and sneaky skills, we’ll discover what makes these woodland creatures so enchanting!
