Preschool Story with an Animal Programs
Early Childhood literacy is the story of the day! In this set of programs one of our educators will read one of the following stories to your group and will use a live animal to help deliver the story’s message. All Story with an Animal programs last 30-45 minutes and are $95 at your site. The program accommodates 25 individuals (students, teachers, parents, etc). For more than 25 participants, another program will need to be added. Prices apply to programs within 20 miles round-trip of the museum. A fee of $.75 per mile is applied to additional miles.

K-12 Traveling Programs
Programs are one hour long and $100 at your site, unless otherwise noted. The program accommodates 25 individuals (students, teachers, parents, etc). For more than 25 participants, another program will need to be added. Programs may be adjusted to accommodate grade level of students. Prices apply to programs within 20 miles round-trip of the museum. Any additional miles will be $.75 per mile.
Mammals, Reptiles, and Birds – Would you like an animal combo? This program has it all. We will discover common characteristics as well as explore differences between groups. An encounter with one of these critters will help students to compare and contrast between them.
Night Creatures – Hunting and foraging at night is very different than during the day! Get ready for a fascinating discussion about heightened senses, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of nocturnal species. We will use one of our education animals as an example! You’ll have a hooting good time!
Auditorium Program
This program is $400 and 75 minutes in length. Serves an audience of up to 300 people. In this program, a minimum of two educators and a variety of 5 animals will come to your site and offer an exciting, interactive animal show to your group. Engaging activities will pique the interest of all your students!
Museum on the Go!
Apart from our offsite programs, The Tallahassee Museum offers a variety of outreach options for your school, organization, or event. Our Animal Encounters on the Go will add excitement to any event.

Animal Encounters on the Go- Our staff will come to your event with 2 animals and will share information about the animal, allow time for questions, and allow picture time.
Animal Encounters on the Go may be reserved for up to 30 minutes at a fee of $150 and serve an audience of no more than 50 people. Off-site prices apply to programs within 30 miles round-trip of the museum. Any additional miles will be $.75 per mile.

Educational Booths
We provide an exciting addition to your event with our interactive and engaging booths. Our experienced staff will come to your location with hands-on activities that focus on a specific theme.
Booths allow for an unlimited number of guests and may be reserved for up to 3 hours at a fee of $300. Each additional hour is $90. This does not include set up and clean up time. See our themes below. Off-site prices apply to programs within 20 miles round-trip of the museum. Any additional miles will be $.75 per mile.
Animal Education Booth – We bring 2 animals to your event along with hands-on activities.
Cultural Heritage Booth – We send a staff person with hands-on activities to share information about the 1880s.
