Celebrate America’s 250th
Join the Tallahassee Museum for the opening of The American Ideal, an immersive exhibition exploring the evolution of our nation—from the era of British loyalism to generations of American service. Spanning nearly two centuries of history, this special exhibition reveals how national events transformed the people, landscapes, and communities of North Florida.
Guests will experience two unique exhibit spaces featuring remarkable artifacts, including an original 1828 Florida Land Grant signed by President John Quincy Adams, elegant late-1800s fashion and accessories, personal objects honoring the service and sacrifice of military men and women, and original artwork commemorating America’s founding and the Museum’s role in preserving our shared history.
As part of the evening, we’ll also make an exciting special announcement regarding the Museum, making this a celebration you won’t want to miss.
Enjoy an evening of history, live music, refreshments, and community as we commemorate the nation’s Semiquincentennial and reflect on the ideals that continue to shape our future.
